Spread thin

I’m up against a grant deadline this weekend, so I didn’t have time to write a real post.  But I did go birding – priorities and all – and to prove to you all that I’m not a slacker, here’s a Blue Grosbeak I had this weekend.

New birds for the Triangle Big Year include Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Acadian Flycatcher, and the photographed Blue Grosbeak, as well as Eastern Wood-Pewee, Swainson’s Thrush, Prairie Warbler, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Yellow Warbler, and Grasshopper Sparrow.

151 down, 65 to go.
