By the time this posted, I’ll be packed up with wife and kid in tow and heading back to southwest Missouri for the holidays. I can’t promise much, but I should be able to get out to look for midwestern birds at least once while I’m back there. I’ve got my eyes on a long-staying Northern Shrike my dad has practically guaranteed. I’ll be back next week!

Don’t believe a word N8 says. There are no promises for a NSHR here! I do have a beautiful Selasphorous hummer scoped out just down the road though. If it stays through this 6 inches of forecasted snow, we’ll see him Saturday.
