What did we learn this month?
Birders and nudists are not compatible.
The internet has a place in modern birding, otherwise, why am I doing this blog thing? (I submitted an edited version of this post as a response to Birding, we’ll see if it gets in)
Jaegers man, Jaegers.
There are more issues with birds and gillnets than I was aware of.
It’s ok to indulge in some blatant naval-gazing from time to time.
And North Carolina has some really great birds (but I kinda knew that already).
My Big Year count stands at 160, so I’m halfway home even though I’m behind where I wanted to be. I’m certainly looking forward to a headlong rush into spring.
